How it works (30 seconds)
- A lightweight script records the visit time and an approximate coordinate.
- The server writes a point (by default to a compact JSON file).
- The globe shows bright red blinking points for visitors online now, and static points for recent history.

Integration: couldn’t be easier

— Install the VISITORS plugin: it creates /visitors/, injects a short script into your site <head>, and provides a link like https://your.domain/visitors/.
— No settings — everything is optimized out of the box.
Privacy & compliance
- Only coordinates and a timestamp are stored (no name, e-mail, etc.).
- Does not track identity, doesn’t set unnecessary cookies.
- GDPR-friendly in spirit: minimal data = minimal risk.

- Two point types: active (blinking) and historical (static).
- Default storage — visitors.json with auto-trimming to ~10,000 points.

FAQ
Will this load my server?
The script is lightweight and requests are small. For large projects there’s an SQLite option.
What if a user blocks geolocation?
Location is determined approximately via IP (provider’s point of presence). Accuracy depends on IP geo data.
How much does it cost?
Base version — $17. Customization (themes, integrations, extensions) — on request.
