Seoul, the capital and largest city of South Korea, is a sprawling metropolis with a rich history and diverse neighborhoods. The city is divided into 25 administrative districts, known as “gu” in Korean, and each of these districts has its own unique character and charm.   5. Insadong:
    • A neighborhood in Jongno-gu, Insadong is famous for its traditional tea houses, art galleries, and antique shops. It’s a great place to experience Korean culture.
  6. Gyeongbokgung Palace:
    • The district surrounding Gyeongbokgung Palace is home to one of Seoul’s most iconic historical sites. It’s a beautiful area to explore the palace grounds and enjoy traditional Korean architecture.
  7. Gwangjin-gu:
    • Located on the banks of the Han River, Gwangjin-gu offers a more residential feel with parks and recreational areas. The Konkuk University area is vibrant and popular with students.
  8. Gangbuk:
    • The northern part of Seoul is often referred to as Gangbuk and includes districts like Seongbuk-gu. This area features beautiful residential neighborhoods and a quieter atmosphere compared to the bustling city center.
  9. Songpa-gu:
    • Home to the Olympic Park, Songpa-gu offers a mix of modern and green spaces. The Lotte World amusement park is also located in this district.
  10. Yongsan-gu:
    • Yongsan is home to the central railway station and the U.S. Army Garrison Yongsan. The district offers a mix of modern developments and historical sites.
  11. Seodaemun-gu:
    • This district is known for its university campuses, including Ewha Womans University and Yonsei University. It has a youthful and academic atmosphere.
  12. Dongdaemun:
    • Famous for its bustling markets and shopping malls, Dongdaemun is a shopping haven, particularly for fashion enthusiasts.
