    • Description: Baluran National Park is often referred to as “Africa van Java” due to its savanna-like landscapes that resemble the African plains.   4. Pangandaran National Park:
    • Location: West Java
    • Description: This park combines coastal and rainforest ecosystems. It is known for its lush vegetation, pristine beaches, and coral reefs. Visitors can explore the park’s diverse flora and fauna, engage in water activities, and visit the Green Canyon, a popular natural attraction.
  5. Meru Betiri National Park:
    • Location: East Java
    • Description: Meru Betiri National Park is a haven for biodiversity, with lush rainforests, rugged terrain, and abundant wildlife. It is known for being one of the few places in Java where you can find the critically endangered Javanese tiger, although its presence is extremely rare. The park is also a great place for birdwatching and trekking.
  6. Karimunjawa National Park:
    • Location: North of Central Java
    • Description: Karimunjawa National Park is a marine paradise comprising 27 islands. It’s a popular destination for snorkeling and diving due to its rich coral reefs and diverse marine life. The park is also home to various species of birds and turtles.
