  4. Jurong West: While Jurong West is a separate planning area, it is often associated with Jurong East. This district is home to a mix of public and private housing, schools, and parks. Boon Lay, a subzone of Jurong West, is known for its industrial and business activities.
  5. Jurong Lake Gardens: The Jurong Lake Gardens is a massive green space that spans Jurong East and Jurong West. It includes the Chinese Garden, Japanese Garden, and the Jurong Lake Park. These serene gardens provide a tranquil escape from the urban environment and offer recreational activities.
  6. Nanyang Technological University (NTU): Located in the western part of Jurong, NTU is one of Singapore’s top universities. It’s a vibrant campus with educational facilities and a bustling student community.
  7. Jurong East Industrial Estate: In addition to its residential and commercial areas, Jurong East also hosts a significant industrial estate, contributing to Singapore’s manufacturing and logistics sectors. The Jurong Industrial Estate includes various industrial parks and warehouses.
  8. JTC Summit: The JTC Summit is a prominent commercial building that houses many businesses and government offices. It plays a crucial role in the district’s commercial activities.
