  5. Centraal Museum: This museum is known for its collection of art and design, including works by Dutch artists like Rietveld and Bruna. It’s also home to an extensive collection of Utrecht Caravaggisti paintings.
  6. Rietveld-Schröderhuis: Another Rietveld-designed building, this house is an important example of the De Stijl art movement. It’s a UNESCO World Heritage site and can be visited by guided tours.
  7. Paushuize: This 16th-century mansion was once the residence of Pope Adrian VI. Today, it’s used for official functions and can be admired from the outside.
  8. University Hall (Academiegebouw): The University Hall of Utrecht University is a beautiful example of Renaissance architecture. It’s located in the city center and is often used for academic and cultural events.
  9. Rijnhuizen Castle (Kasteel Rijnhuizen): This charming castle is located just outside of Utrecht and is a picturesque building surrounded by lovely gardens.
  10. Oudegracht and Canals: While not individual buildings, Utrecht’s historic canals, including the Oudegracht, are famous and define the city’s character. The unique wharf cellars along the canals are also noteworthy.
