Tolyatti is a city in Russia, located in the Samara Oblast in the southeastern part of the European part of the country. It is one of the largest cities in Russia, with a population of over 700,000 people as of my last knowledge update in September 2021. Tolyatti is situated on the Volga River and is known for its automotive industry, particularly as the home of AvtoVAZ, the maker of Lada automobiles. The city was named after the Italian communist leader Palmiro Togliatti.
Tolyatti is an important industrial and economic center, and it plays a significant role in the automotive and manufacturing sectors in Russia. The city has a variety of cultural attractions, including museums, theaters, and parks, making it a vibrant and dynamic place to live and visit.
