The city of Toowoomba is located in the south-east of the Australian state of Queensland, in the eastern part of the mainland. The city is 700 meters above sea level. Toowoomba is a regional center whose territory borders on the east with a high mountain range, and is located about 160 km west of Moreton Bay. 132 km from Toowoomba is Brisbane, the capital of Queensland.
There is a rainy season "winter", from November to March, and a dry season "summer" from April to October. The maximum temperature in the summer season is about 27 degrees, in winter about 16 degrees. Winter temperatures very rarely fall below zero. Winter is the rainy season, but sometimes, especially in the western part of the suburbs, snow may fall.
